Lithium Experiment Part 3
As mentioned in the “Lithium Experiment Introduction” our new lithium system will be installed under either Box Number 1 or Box Number 2 of the Lounge in Blue Streak, see drawing below.
The specific parts of the lounge that is required to be removed in order to get at the 12v battery disconnect system of Blue Streak is Box Number 1, Back Rest/Shelf Number 3 and Side/Arm Rest Number 4 ?. I will also be removing the top of box number 2 ?. This will enable me to get at all the existing 12v electrical system and inspect the solar system wiring.
In real time here is what it looks like!
As you can see only the Box Number 1 remains because I discovered it is anchored to the floor via the alum angle (screwed from the back side ?) … Once I have the new lithium batteries I will determine which location will be the best. In Box Number 2 it’s open and direct and easy. In Box Number 1, if I can put them in place without removing the box (Wishin’ and hopin’ and thinkin’ and prayin’) but I believe it’s a pipe dream. So I will have to remove it to finish the install under Box Number 1. That’s because it’s a tight space (see below) ? I think that would also make maintenance more of a challenge.
