Winter Storage Preparations

Our Winter Storage check list focus is on our International 25 CCD Airstream to winterize and ready for the Off-Season Sleep. Your list may very depending on your specific trailer.
First:😎
- Visit a Dump Station and empty Grey and Black Tanks (if required)
Second, begin with:😎
- Remove all clothing, linen, towels, shoes, loose gear from interior lockers
- Remove all food stuff from lockers
- Do a general clean throughout
- Remove all misc batteries from non-12v instruments
- furnace control panel
- fire alarms x2
- indoor/outdoor weather station + sender
- Moto Walkie-Talkies x2
- Empty Refrigerator/Freezer and clean
- (leave doors open)
- Secure all windows
- Secure all vents
- Close LP tanks
Winterization Process Check-List:😎
- Drain/clean Hot water tank
- Open all low point drains
- (allow system to drain then close low point drains)
- (Set hot water tank by-pass)
- Blowout fresh waterlines with Viair Compressor at City Water Connection
- Open all taps one at a time (hot and cold water) until dry
- Kitchen
- Bathroom
- Toilet
- Toilet Sprayer
- Shower
- Outdoor Shower
- Open all taps one at a time (hot and cold water) until dry
- Pump RV pink anti-freeze through waterlines at water pump inlet side, through the inlet strainer
- Open all taps one at a time (as above) until pink flows out
- Open all taps one at a time (as above) until pink flows out
- Add anti-freeze to all drain traps
- Kitchen
- Bathroom
- Shower
- Toilet Bowl
- Add a little extra anti-freeze to the Black Tank via toilet
- Add some anti-freeze to toilet to maintain the seal
- Set-up Dri-Z-Air system on
- Kitchen Counter
- Bathroom Sink
- Kitchen Counter
Note! do not put anti-freeze in the Fresh Water Tank or the Hot Water Tank as you will never get the taste completely remove. 🤢🤮
Before You Leave The Airstream:😎
- Press the Store/Use button so red light is out (in store mode)
- Make sure solar is maintaining the Lithium Batteries
- Double lock door
- Check to make sure the two outside lockers are locked
- Install Tri-max wheel chock/locks and tire protection covers
- Install Coupler Vault and Coupler Latch lock
- Remove Break-away Chains
- Disconnect power to the Jack

Continued Monthly Maintenance Schedule:😎
- Dump and Refresh Dri-Z-Air containers
- Check solar charge rate of Lithium Batteries
- General inspection to ensure all is well
