Goldstream Campground

Just got back from a short 4 days at Goldstream Provincial Park located 20 minutes from Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island.

We stayed at campsite 118, nice with above average privacy and as a treat 25 metres from flush toilets and hot showers.?  While we were still “Boondocking” (in as much as there are no services at the campsite) this was a very pleasant surprise.

That’s me below, KOBO in hand on a lovely sunny day.

Since we were so close to Victoria we invited Mona’s sister Valerie to come and visit – she spend two day with us.  Considering we haven’t seen each other for almost two pandemic years, this too was a treat.

The Campground sits above Goldstream River with a great water fall. There are 180 steps down the cliff face to a clear cold pool suitable for swimming .

We will be back for a longer stay next year.
